Marylin Hayes-Martin
Raised in the foothills of the Arkansas Ozarks, she deepened her appreciation for the region’s rich history and vibrant culture.
She was deeply fascinated by the captivating tales of the hardships and challenges endured by the women in her family over four generations. Her novel, “Common Thread, Uncommon Women,” beautifully weaves together their stories.
Marylin has had several of her short pieces published in esteemed publications, such as the White County Arkansas Historical Society journal. Her work has also been featured in the literary anthology, Second Saturday, which is published by Ladybug Press and can be found on Amazon.
Marylin is one of the co-founders and dedicated facilitators of the Sonora Writers Group. She currently lives in the foothills of the California Sierra Mountains with her husband, Frank.
